its just about one day left to the start of IVP. Excited much?
Anyway, I've got some stuff to say before we step into the court on Monday, and I hope with this post, everyone has enough time to really "chew and digest" on whatever that is written here :)
I think it is quite evident that everything seems to be falling apart ever since we gained the championship for POLITE, starting from attendance, attitude, intensity of training, the nonsense from OSG and blahs. I dont deny the fact that I was very affected by the response by the team and how we just let all of those bring us down. I have to admit that, I was really really disheartened when problem after problem starts happening to us and yes, it starts to trigger all the negative thoughts in me about IVP.
I've heard from a few as well, that they are not putting any high hopes on IVP because of so much that has happened.
I know it is too late now to make amendments anything, but I hope that on IVP we can still possess the same spirit that we once have for POLITE despite of all the crap that happened. If not for the team, at least for yourselves. Play with all your hearts out and show that all the time and effort that you guys spend during trainings have all paid off. There's only so much that I can say, the rest is really up to the mentality of you guys.
It all starts with the seniors, and I hope that you guys will be able to show a good example for the year ones on Monday, by going into the court and really fight for every opportunity to score, to defend and to perform your responsibilty at the fullest.
To my dear year 3 counterparts: Our last 5weeks in RP already! Lets make IVP a good one and leave this school feeling contented. Cause we all know deep down inside we still want it! Forget all the negativity and start making our dream come true :D We can do it yooo
To the year 2s: 1bronze,1 silver, 1 gold in your collection already. I'm not sure what you guys want, but I hope it will be a good objective set in your mind after this post. You guys will be leading the team next year, so let them have something to look up to eh? :D
To the freshies: Each and everyone of you counts, and maybe, I'll have to apologise that most of the seniors are not setting any good example to you guys to follow, which may have caused a few disputes here and there last year. Nevermind about that, sunshine after rain. Focus on yourself, your ability to bring home another gold medal this year!
To yiwen, rei and mary: you guys are still part of Adroits, and will always be :) Dont be too disheartened! Still got 2 more years to go! Eventhough you guys cant be in the court, your support outside is enough to bring the spirit up for team. So, in other words, you guys are really damn important ;) Okay, I'm very lousy with words. I dont know how to put my thoughts into words uhhh :S but you guys know what I mean la righttttttt! hehehe :D
ok, LOVE YOU ALL DEEP DEEP <3 -your lousy vcapt HAHAHA^^-
